Poinsettia Christmas Tree Hanging Decor

Hi guys! Today, i will be sharing another Christmas Related project. We are making A Christmas tree Hanging Decor. This is the first of the two hanging decor project that we are going have this month. We will make a Poinsettia Flower. The plant's association with Christmas began in 16th century Mexico, where legend tells of a young girl who was too poor to provide a gift for the celebration of Jesus' birthday. The tale goes that the child was inspired by an angel to gather weeds from the roadside and place them in front of the church altar. Crimson "blossoms" sprouted from the weeds and became beautiful poinsettias. The star-shaped leaf pattern is said to symbolize the Star of Bethlehem, and the red color represents the blood sacrifice through the crucifixion of Jesus. Poinsettias are popular Christmas decorations in homes, churches, offices, and elsewhere across North America. They are available in large numbers from grocery, drug, and hardware stores. And now we will use Poinsettia as a Christmas Tree Decor.

To start, we need red colored papers, glitters, card board (for making the pattern) and ribbons and laces.

First, we have to make a pattern. Cut a flower-shape like this from the card board.

Now fold the Red colored paper depending upon how many Poinsettia flowers you want to make.

Now after that, Paste one Flower-shaped paper over the other and make their petals point on opposite directions.

Now slightly fold each tips. This will give texture to our flower.

There you go!

Now add some details. Cut a circle from any colored paper (except red... I prefer yellow) and glue it on the middle.

Now using a glue, outline each side of the petals including the circle on the middle.

Sprinkle it with glitters

Take the glitters off and you should get something like this!

Now cut a small piece of ribbon and glue both ends together.

Attach the ribbon at the back using glue gun.

Now make as many as you want and hang it on your Christmas tree.
