Popsicle Stick Picture Frame

It is Mirasol's birthday today and we're planning to surprise her with this art project. Remember my "Popsicle Stick Storage Box"? Today, i will be featuring another Popsicle Stick Art by making a Picture frame out of it.

To start with, we need Popsicle sticks, Glue gun and small pieces of sea shells, and photos as well. You do not have to consume such amount of popsicle ice cream just to make this project possible haha. You can buy popsicle sticks in bundle in all the nearest school supplies shop in your area.

Align two popsicle sticks parallel to each other.Now, Using a glue gun, place the popsicle sticks over the two parallel sticks vertically.

It should look like this.

Take a popsicle stick and cut the curves on both ends and place it on the lower side of your frame.

Place 2 popsicle sticks on the opposite sides too(left and right).

Now place again another popsicle stick over the lower side.

And place a popsicle stick over the two opposite sides in a horizontal position. Make it at least half an inch from the top.

This will give us an open space where we can insert the picture.

Now start decorating the frame by putting some sea shells on it.

Tadah! Here's a single frame! You can put a stand at the back if you want it to be single.

But since this is a birthday gift for Mirasol, we want to make it extra special. We make another frame similar to the first one.

Using the glue gun, attach the two by placing a popsicle stick in the middle.

And there you go! A double side frame! Just place the picture inside and it's ready to display!PS: Sorry for the pictures.. we are in a hurry at that time so we failed to look for a nice and neat picture.
