How To Make Recycled Toy Race Car

Recycling is good and something that we must encouraged to our kids. Today we are sharing you how to make a Toy Car out of different used materials. Instead of throwing them, why not making them more useful right?

To Start our project , we need the following

  • Disposable Caps
  • Huge Straw (2 pcs)
  • Cardboard (used)
  • White Bond Paper
  • A pair of barbecue stick
  • Laces
  • Glue gun and glue sticks
  • Masking tape
Outline four Circles on the cardboard using the disposable cap
Cut them and set them aside first.

.
Create a hole at the side of the disposable cap making it possible for our straw to pass through from one side to another

Do the same thing to the other cap

Connect the mouth of the two caps using a masking tape

Cover it with a white card board and serve it as your car's chasis

Make your own design for your race car and after doing so, set it aside first.

Get the cardboard circles you cut awhile ago. And now using a stick, create a hole at the center of each circled card board
Do the same thing with other circles. Using the glue gun, put the lace around the circle.

Do the same thing with other three and this will serve as our wheels.
Connect the wheels using a barbeque sticks and lock them the tape. Just put the stick inside the straw and connect the wheels on both sides.

Tadah! You got a Toy Race Car
Enjoy!!!

Eco Friendly Art Crafts

April 22 is 41st World Earth Day and i am planning to join an advocacy campaign that promotes ecological consciousness and environment sensitivity. Yeah! I did that last year and I am doing it again for a cause. My siblings and I used to do co friendly projects and i really insist them that instead of buying art materials on the market, why not we use other materials that we can recycled. You witness almost all our crafts and i know most of you are aware that all our projects are environmental friendly and we tried to make something good from junks. Here let me show you some of them again.

Toy Race Car Made out from used Straw and disposable Cups

Toy Space Ship made from Mini boxes and toilet paper rolls

Toy Robot from all sort of junks

Wind Chime from used perfume bottles and sea shells

Trick or Treat box from a Doughnut box

Recycled Christmas Lantern from old Cds , plastic cups and popsicle sticks

Improvised Maracas from plastic bottles

Toy School Bus from used empty boxes

A Hand Bag from old pants

And a Craft Organizer from used package box.
We will be making more recycled projects in the near future. This is our simple yet very special way of helping the environment and I encourage you guys to try making such projects with your kids too and let them be aware about how to help our environment.
Anyway, the advocacy campaign that i will be joining next week will be more than just making crafts. We will clean the places that are toxicated and polluted and we will try our best to encourage the people to do the same thing too even it's not Earth Day. We will be gathering some funds too to buy some cleaning equipments or if it is not possible for us to buy a brand new, maybe we can borrow or rent it from a Equipment Leasing company. If i am not mistaken, this is exactly the same thing that we did last year so that the rest of the funds that we solicit will be donated to a charity. I will just buzz more about this event guys. Happy Blogging and have a great day!

Toy Spaceship

We're heading down to our Second to the last art project for this month. I gave you the clue and now it's time for us to reveal the art craft. Today, we'll show you how to make a toy spaceship out of empty boxes.

To start, we need empty Colgate box, 3 mini rectangular box, toilet paper roll, 3 empty match boxes, and poster paints. We have a real spaceship toy here and we will make a replica of it.

Get the Colgate box, then attach the 2 min rectangular boxes on both side.

(Milzon having fun with the project)

There you go...
Now attach the 2 empty match box right after the mini rectangular boxes on both side.

Ok here's the outcome...

Now cut the toilet paper roll into 2 and attach them at the side of the match box. Use Masking Tape to make it more firm

there you go.... now advance to the next step

Attach the remaining mini rectangular box at the bottom of our Colgate box. this will serve as the Spaceship tail.

let us compare the two... weeeh

Now for the head, just make this pattern on your cardboard

Attach the head at the other end of the Colgate box.

We're done! Now apply the finishing touches!

Make mini cones like these and put them on the both ends of our Toilet paper rolls.

Paint the spaceship with white poster paint as the based color.

Since we do not have gray paint, we decided to paint it black. It's Milzon's favorite color by the way.

(Milzon busy painting)

Oh by the way, put an empty match box on the upper part of our spaceship... just for details...

There you go... our Toy Spaceship!
